For many park homes, LPG and heating oil can mean unpredictable running costs, storage tanks, fuel deliveries and exposure to global energy price changes. A heat pump removes many of these issues by using electricity to generate efficient, low-carbon heating from the air around your home.
When paired with good insulation, it can become a cost-effective way to heat your property while helping you move away from traditional fossil fuels. With the £9,000 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant available for eligible installations, switching to a heat pump can be completely free.

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a UK Government grant designed to help homeowners move away from fossil fuel heating systems, such as oil, LPG, gas or direct electric heating, and switch to low-carbon alternatives like heat pumps. Launched in May 2022, the scheme currently offers up to £9,000 towards the cost of an eligible air source heat pump installation.
At Riva Heat, we make the process simple by checking your eligibility, explaining your options, and guiding you through the installation from start to finish. As part of the process, we apply for your grant and deduct it from the upfront installation cost, helping make your new heat pump more affordable.
All heat pump installations are carried out by MCS Certified engineers, ensuring your system is installed to the highest industry standards. This certification also means your installation meets the requirements for government incentives.

Every heat pump installed by Riva Heat is selected for excellent energy efficiency, helping you make the most of every pound you spend on heating. It’s a smarter choice for your home and for the planet.

Heat pumps work differently to combi boilers, and use a cylinder to store heated water. Our engineers will install and connect your cylinder, so everything works smoothly from day one.
Before installation, we carry out a detailed home survey to ensure your property is suitable for a heat pump system. Our engineers assess factors such as insulation levels, radiator sizing, and system requirements so the heat pump is correctly specified for your home. This helps ensure the system runs efficiently and delivers reliable heating and hot water once installed.
Your heat pump installation includes the external unit along with all essential components needed for efficient operation. Our engineers will supply and install everything required, including secure mounting, electrical isolation, and the necessary safety equipment to ensure the system meets all relevant installation standards.
All pipework is included within your installation price. This may involve upgrading flow and return pipework or making control system improvements so your new heat pump operates efficiently. Any necessary changes will be completed as part of the installation with no hidden costs.
When your old heating system is removed, we make sure it is taken away from your property and disposed of responsibly. Any related waste materials, such as old pipework, cylinders, or redundant system parts, will also be cleared and recycled where possible, leaving your home tidy once the installation is complete.
When you purchase a heat pump from Riva Heat, your system will be protected by a manufacturer-backed warranty. The length of cover will depend on the specific model selected, giving you added reassurance that your new heating system is built to last.
Heat pumps work brilliantly alongside solar panels and battery storage, creating a more efficient and cost-effective way to heat your home. Solar panels generate electricity during the day, which can be used to power your heat pump and reduce reliance on the grid. Any excess energy can be stored in a battery and used later, such as in the evening when your heating demand may be higher.
This combination helps lower running costs, reduces carbon emissions, and gives homeowners greater control over their energy use, especially as electricity prices continue to fluctuate. You can also use your solar power to charge an electric vehicle at home.

Thanks to the large number of heat pump installations we carry out, we’ve built strong relationships with leading suppliers. This allows us to secure competitive trade pricing and pass those savings directly on to our customers.
